Fruit smoothies will not help you lose weight. Period. Just because something has fruit in it doesn't make it healthy! Fruits have great nutritional benefits to them, but they do not outweigh the amount of sugar that most of them have! If you are trying to lose weight, eating large quantities of fruits is not ok, and will only prolong your weightloss journey! When you got to a Jamba Juice or places similar, an average smoothie will have anywhere between 30-60 grams of sugar in it, which is over the daily allowance for most who are going for weight loss! Some low-sugar fruits are Blackberries, Raspberries, and Strawberries! Think twice before you order a "healthy smoothie"!
